Grant Ross and Sebastian Davies are taking on an overland unassisted cycle expedition from John O'Groats (Scotland) to Cape Town (South Africa), departing on the 8th July 2009. The Distance of the the cycle is roughly 24 000 km over 2 continents and 18 countries, and this challenge is expected to take in excess of 15 months.

As part of our challenge we will be supporting the development charity ActionAid. Money is being raised for two specific projects being run in Malawi and Western Uganda and the challenge is to provide safe water, reduce hunger and sustain development in these areas.

We hope is to raise £20 000 over the period of the cycle for the two projects and aim to see these projects in action firsthand as we pass through Malawi and Uganda on our route.

We are currently living and working in London to try raise the funds to complete Cycle North South. We have recieved many private sponsors who are trying to assist us before the departure date. We have also managed to find support from Niketown, Flexopower and PSA.
